PLOT:

Apporva Lakhia and Laxmi Singh have produced a film Hide & Seek under the banner Idiot Box and Moser Baer Entertainment Ltd. which is set to release this month. The director of the film is Shawn Arranha. It is really surprising fact that Apporva Lakhia is himself a director who has directed many films among which Ek Ajanabi of Amitabh Bachchan needs to be mentioned. It is really gracious of him that a film he too could have directed but gave the chance to Shawn Arranha.

Shawn Arranha worked as an assistant director for his first film SAATHIYA and this film is his debut film as independent director.

Hide and Seek is a suspense thriller based on the lives of 6 friends Om, Abhi, Jaideep, Imran, Gunita and Jyotika. Purab Kohli and Mrinalini Sharma are playing the role of two friends.

The six friends get together on a Christmas night and there they make a plan to play a game of Hide & Seek. They agree to that but they hardly had any idea what was going to happen further. They were kids at that time named as Om, Abhi, Jaideep, Imran, Gunita and Jyotika. But what happened on that day no one had thought. They were not knowing that the incident what would take place was going to follow them for whole life.

After that day they get involved in their daily routine. Their lives proceed but they could hardly forget that dreadful night which they had spent on that Christmas. It sticks into the mind of a few never to be wiped out whereas some try to bury it in their minds; never to recall it again.

But after twelve years their fate again brings them together and creates circumstances where they have to play the same game once again.

But it is not going to be the simple game for them. This time the game has approached to them in the disguise of death. They are going to die. They will do their best to save their lives. Will they succeed? How many of them will be able to save their lives? How many will get killed? And why!

You will see the best friends turning foes; betraying each other.

Actually the game of Hide & Seek is just going to begin. What had they done 12 years back? What is haunting them? Something happened that day which is suspense and you have to watch out for the reason.

What does the game want to convey message?

Their past is haunting them; they get trapped in a shopping mall and 6 persons who were known to be their best friends and who were ready to give their lives for each other are now going to take each other’s lives. Why?

PLOT:
So here is Vishnu, played by Abhay Deol. He is a kind of very restless young man, he is not interested in accompanying his father in his uncertain hair oil business and plans to escape from it one day.

On his journey he gets an old truck, to which Vishnu sees as his ticket to freedom he takes it as a signal from his destiny. He recommends that this antique Chevy can be sold in a good price in any local museum that may come in their way. While his travel besides the seas and across the harsh territory of desert India, he finds out that this truck is not just a beaten up vehicle but actually is an old on the tour cinema.

Along his way, Vishnu meets a young escapee, Mohammed Faizal Usmani; a traveling old entertainer, played by, Satish Kaushik and a outstanding gypsy woman, played by Tannishtha Chatterjee – Brick Lane. While their travel, together they explore the long deserts in search for water and an elusive fair. But not anymore smooth the journey starts turning horrible when they are approached by corrupt cops and a notorious water lord.

The only way to set themselves free is their eccentric collection of films and the two forty-year-old film projectors that is in the back of the truck. And that is what exactly their freedom depends on. If the films are good they are safe but if the film turns out to be boring they have to face death. As this is how their 1001 Nights can go safe.

The journey keeps proving transformative for each of the travelers, but other than everyone Vishnu who life, love and laughter on the his journey on the Indian highway.

Plot:

Mmmm… Karthik, played by farhan Akhtar, is an introvert and a shy boy by nature and choice both. Being closed within himself he suffers with huge confidence issues and is unhappy with his not so impressive job that gives up not so immpressive results.

On top of it his boss treats him like a left over. Nut what exiting in his life is Shonali. Shonali is his colleague, he loves secretly her. But on the other hand she doesn’t even know that he exists. Karthik is a big time loser, and he knows it, and has no issues with accepting it.

Karthik accept the truth that his life worsest of all and then suddenly one night, life opens the door in a very mysterious way and the phone rings. The call is from someone he never thought of. The call is from from Karthik or say the person on the phone claims to be Karthik. And he says he is here to change Karthik’s life.

Karthik invites the change from the phone in his life and in a little while the phone becomes his guide, his mentor, friend or say guardian. And above all it becomes the green card to the love of his life, Shonali and his life changes in ways that he even have never ever imagined.
