Tanashah’s guard arrested, questioned for his role in killing

On the day of shootout, Manoj Rajbhar and others disappeared mysteriously.The Mumbai crime branch has detained Chhota Rajan gangster Farid Tanashah’s bodyguard, who they believe has played an important role in aiding the shooters.

Manoj Rajbhar, 32, a native of Uttar Pradesh has been serving Tanashah for the last eight years. On June 2, Tanashah was killed by unknown shooters at his Tilak Nagar residence in Chembur while he was resting in his bedroom.

Tanashah’s wife and six-year-old daughter was present in the house when the incident took place.

According to the police, on May 23, Tanashah visited Delhi and Ajmer with his wife and his close aide Zuber chacha. Since the family was out on tour, Rajbhar was on leave.

Sources revealed that while Tanashah was away, Rajbhar did a recce of the house and also forwarded the structural details of the Tanashah’s Chembur house to the shooters.
