Hasmukh Solanki, the third shooter and the fourth accused in the killing of advocate Shahid Azmi, was picked up by the crime branch unit 6 from Nehru Nagar in Kurla (E) on Tuesday.
The police also recovered a revolver from Solanki, who has two previous cases of murder against him.
Solanki, along with Devendra Jagtap alias JD and Pinto Devram Dagle, had shot Azmi on February 11.
The Chembur police are waiting to take the custody of JD and Solanki as the duo had killed social activist Sunil Mane in a case of mistaken identity in 2008.
