Navi Mumbai resident Harshad Prakash Chavan topped the HSC result by scoring 96.67 per cent. Chavan, a student of Swami Vivekanand College, scored 580 marks out of 600 in the HSC examination.
Akshay Rohit Gandhi of SIES College missed the top spot by a whisker. The Ghatkopar resident scored 96.33 per cent. While Lekha Murlidharan of Ruparel College scored 96.17 per cent to take the third spot.
A total of 74.61 per cent students have passed the HSC examination in Mumbai this year .
